100th day of school

100th Day of School project!!!
Bring 100 of anything from home to share with your class.  Our family displayed 100 balloons on a piece of posterboard.  We organized them by 10's and by color... can't wait to show you!

Who would've thought we could have so much fun with this family project?  This project helped us to count, sort colors... oh ya and dad taught us about "static electricity".
We could make those balloons stick to ANYTHING, even George!  It was all fun and games until it was time to focus and actually do the project.  Mom was getting a little frustrated because her fingers were sore from tying 100 balloons, but her and dad looked like they pretty much had it figured out.
The teachers and classmates at Cottonwood Elementary were very impressed with the creativity of the project.  Mom had to drive me to school because she was afraid the upper classmen would use the project as a dart board on the way to school.
The project was a success... and most importantly (no matter how bad mom's fingers hurt and how late dad got to bed that night), we had a blast working on it together, as a family!
